Journeyman Basketball has been conducting these summer camps since 2005. Over 35 drills are explained and exercised in fundamentals, individual confidence, proper technique, team defense, offensive movement, screen setting, dexterity and ambidexterity, proper physical preparedness, stretching clinic with dietary recommendations, proper hydration and many other areas of individual improvement. Many controlled scrimmages are scheduled throughout the week. Participants are grouped in similar skill and ability for equal and competitive play. Journeyman also applies its short lectures on respect of all involved, character building, and team unity.

We structure the camp around the fundamentals of basketball but include many other events as well. Incorporating other events allows the players to keep their interest in the fundamentals while taking a break from them to regain focus. These other events also allow us to continue to stress the importance of working together in other team atmospheres. Other events can often include, softball game, indoor or outdoor Ultimate Frisbee, movie day, volleyball, dodge ball and other events weather permitting.

Monday through Friday you will need to provide your own lunch but on Friday pizza is ordered from a local business.

There are two rates available for those that have other summer plan, a three day rate and a full week rate. Sibling discounts and a referral discount are also available. When the roster is full, we will post such information on the site or the product will be removed from the store.

Campers are reminded to bring:
Lunch every day except Friday (unless pizza is unacceptable)
Basketball Sneakers (non-marking sole)
Towel for defensive drills
Beverage-plastic bottles only
Glove and alternate sneakers for outdoor softball game
Sunscreen
