Fedele DeVito

Status: Player Induction Date: December, 2005

This Journeyman participated in 10 teamwork sessions between 2002 and 2005. He was awarded Most Valuable Player for SJE-17 and SJE-16 and All-Star Game MVP scoring his career high 43 points during SJE-16. He was Most Improved Player for SJE-14, Larry Bird Award winner during SJE-15 and JJE-06.

Fred was also a Reunion Tour Member in September of 2005. He was listed in 7 of the 10 statistical top ten categories at the point of induction into the Hall of Fame. He placed himself 6th in PSP, 4th in total points scored, 2nd in blocked shots, 3rd in rebounding, 4th in free throws made, 10th in three pointers made and 5th in two point field goals.

Currently holds the Senior Journeyman record for rebounds in a single game with 28 rebounds during SJE-16 on 7/31/05. He holds 2 blocked shot records to include highest average blocks per game during a Senior session with 3.73bpg and most blocks in a single session with 41blks during SJE-16.

Fred was among the hardest working Journeyman to ever dawn a Journeyman Jersey. He had the attitude, overall personality and “blue collar” game that younger generation Journeymen looked up to and admired.

We hope that Fred will continue to be a part of the program he helped establish. Please join us in congratulating Fedele DeVito, a true Journeyman.
