JOURNEYMAN TRAVEL
We are unsure of the number of games and locations of these games just yet but will know more after we assemble the team. Information will be posted as we receive it. We are also unsure of the cost, yet plan to keep it low in the spirit of Journeyman’s cost structure.

It will be coached by President and Founder JP Sanborn and assisted by D1 Game Coach Lauri Sowers. Practices will only be held once or twice a week.

We will expect the following from travel players:
- Top notch, never quit attitude
- Solid communication
- Players must be at present at games 15 minutes before tip off
- The desire to represent Journeyman with respect for opposing teams and officials
- The desire to be the first one on the floor for a loose ball
- The desire to put TEAM above SELF at all times

If you can do this, you may be ready for Journeyman Travel. Tryouts and more information to come. Those interested must send their e-mails soon.

If you coach an existing team and wish to scrimmage, please contact Coach Sanborn at 772-5553 so that we can make arrangements. Journeyman is willing to provide both officials and 75 - 100% of gym time if needed.

"I believe our best memories of JT games will be not only the games we've won, but also the games we've lost and how tough we played in those losses" said Coach Sanborn. He also added, "We intend to play every game like it's our last and leave all our energy on the court. Our only failure will be in not doing so."

Want to be a Journeyman Travel player? Travel on Hold Till November 08'
We're Looking for Games

You may be the leading scorer or top defender on your team but if you do put forth the effort the coaching staff thinks your capable of, you will not make the team.

If a coach from the surrounding area gives Coach Sanborn a call with the need to test his squad, then we get to work! We select a group of players using the criteria above and focus on matching the age group of the opposing team. So JOURNEYMAN TRAVEL players could be any age within the Journeyman setting.

Cost you ask? For now it is free. Donations for paying officials is greatly appreciated but not required. Please use the donate button we recently added for your convenience.

Since we are affiliated with Journeyman Basketball, we use their equipment and supplies.

Interested Participants for Future Teams Should call 234-5553.
Interested teams should visit our schedule if they wish to Play us. When you see "VS ?" this means contact JP and play us then.

There will be no cost associated with the program unless we feel the need for assistance with the cost of officials and facility use. Journeyman Travel will use Journeyman funds as long as they are available and do not effect the budget. We will also use Journeyman equipment and uniforms. Those wishing to donate funds for the use of Journeyman Travel only, can do so by utilizing the "donate" option on this website or mailing a check to:

Journeyman Basketball
PO Box 1016
Exeter NH 03833

New uniforms for the Travel Team is an excellent example of where donated funds would be used.
