| This is the PLAYERS ASSOCIATION PAGE. |
Its All About Your Involvement!
What has the President done with your Donation?
To all rookies and returning Journeyman, I am Alex Price (AP), the new JPA (Journeyman Players Association) president. This is the JPA page.
The JPA is an organization that allows any and all players to come up with ideas as well as raise money for families, businesses, volunteers, and facilities who are either in need or deserve a thank you for all they have done for us. I will have a JPA meeting at my house or at one of the gyms one or two times a session. At these meetings we decide where the five dollar dues you pay every session go. If you have any ideas, please feel free to either email me or talk to me at any time. Like the headline on this page says it is all about your involvement. If you have any questions you can email me at 1alexgator@comcast.net.
Sincerely,
Alex Price
Farewell to a great President
Pat Fords resignation statement
I'd like to thank the Board of Directors, the players and especially JP Sanborn for the opportunity to have been your JPA president for the past three years. I feel this experience gave me leadership opportunities and skills that I'll use in the future. Together, we raised over $5000, which we were able to give to over 30 local charities. My years with Journeyman have been an incredible learning experience, on and off the court. It's time now to pass the torch to Alex Price, whom I selected because of his superior dedication to this program. He is often the first to volunteer for community service opportunities. He volunteers to help out any way he can, even at games he's not playing in. I look forward to being involved with the program as an alumni.
Thank you,
Pat "Fordy" Ford
**ATTENTION**
When paying your dues please place the cash in a sealed envelope with your name and division written on the outside of the envelope.
JPA Logo Contest
Do you see the JPA logo in the top left corner of this page? We think it’s time for a change! I will be having a contest to see who can come up with the best JPA logo. The logo is due by August 7th, so you will have plenty of time to hand it in. You can give it to me at one of the gyms, or you can mail it to me. Make sure it has something to do with the JPA, other than that you can have whatever you want on it.
BE CREATIVE!.
If you win, you will get a $100 Foot Locker gift card and also will have your initials on the logo in small letters.
Rules
It must fit on one piece of paper.
It should represent who we are.
It should look professional.
You can send it electronically to info@journeymanbasketball.com or in the mail to:
Alex Price
7 Pleasant View
Drive Exeter, NH O3833
The winner will be announced at the award ceremony at the end of the summer session.
Good luck!
Sincerely,
Alex Price

Ensure you read the contract every session.
All players must acknowledge these rules and sign this contract before participating in teamwork sessions.
Journeyman Basketball reserves the right to add additional rules that prove to be influential to the character we expect from our athletes.
Conduct- All players must show respect for officials, coaches, teammates and spectators. Fighting, swearing, yelling and inappropriate innuendo is not tolerated. Players also must respect facilities and make efforts to keep them clean.
Attendance- Attendance is an important part of this organization, if you know you're not able to attend or you will be late for your game, then the player must first attempt communication through e-mail via team1st@comcast.net. If e-mail access is not available they must call their game coach or head coach before the posted practice time. If an athlete doesn’t show up or comes late without communicating, the player cannot play in the first half of the game and can only play a maximum of 10 minutes during the second half.
Uniforms- Athletes are responsible for their uniform. Uniforms must be turned in to the designated divisional uniform coordinator at the end of an athlete’s last game within a teamwork session. If a uniform is not returned at the end of a session, future registration will be suspended until the uniform has been returned. If you lose your jersey you must pay the fee of $80.
Participation- This league is all about participation. The JAC, JPA and designated staff encourage and support the efforts made by its athletes to volunteer their time to the organization. Furthermore, they encourage all athletes to be involved in the disbursement of JPA dues. Watch for e-mails and postings regarding opportunities to stay involved. Furthermore the JPS expect their athletes to be actively involved in their community and supply information about local charities in need of assistance to a designated JPA representative.
Dues- The player's association will have $5 dues that every player must pay. Dues are to be paid before an athlete’s 3rd game. After that, there will be a $3 increase every week it is not paid.
Technical fouls:
-Fighting- automatic ejection and number of games suspended is determined by JAC.
-Inappropriate behavior- this includes displacement of anger (throwing, kicking, punching), yelling at teammates or crowd (negatively), and verbally disagreeing with referees. All previously mentioned outburst of inappropriate behavior will result in possible ejection depending on severity. Ejection will also be applied if the player receives a second technical.
-Uniform- If a player is out of uniform a 2 shot technical foul will be awarded to the opposing team before the game starts.
-Language- If an athlete is caught swearing, the player will be ejected from the game immediately and serve a 2 game suspension. This is a very serious rule especially at the church!
-Statistics- If an athlete is caught looking at statistics during a game, a technical foul will be issued. If anyone is caught a second time, the coaches or divisional stat master can decide whether or not stats will not be recorded for the game. Players cannot review statistics during practice or game unless under staff instruction.
