William Bick III

Status: Player Induction Date: November, 2013

William or “Billy” Bick, started his career in Journeyman in the beginning of 2005. He brought with him a versatile game that allowed him to play a variety of positions dependent upon the team’s needs. Billy always put the team 1st and was always focused on the game plan for any given evening in practice or game. More importantly Billy grasped what it meant to be a Journeyman and gave back to the program by coaching younger division teams and continues to support the program as he is often seen at the stat bench. Billy’s true character made him a valued team member often requested by other players when building team rosters. Teammates knew they had his best effort and valued his companionship. Billy’s individual achievements include; Division2 Most Valuable Player during JJE-20, Senior Division 6th Man Award Winner for SJE-27 and Senior Division All-Star Game MVP during SJE-34. At this point of induction Billy will be ranked #5 in career games played and has received Player of the Game Honors 16 times in his career. Billy’s cool demeanor and dedication to his team and the program, will not soon be forgotten. Other players in the program may have had abilities equivalent to his but few demonstrated the effort, attention and dedication Billy did on a nightly basis. Even though he finishes his career as an active player with Journeyman we hope he continues to attend alumni functions and possibly considers coaching again with the program. Please join us in congratulating Billy Bick, a true Journeyman.
