Michele Eaton

Status: Staff/Parent Induction Date: November, 2013

The Journeyman Basketball organization and Player’s Association proudly inducts Michele Eaton into the Journeyman Basketball Hall of Fame. In early 2009 Journeyman Basketball was fortunate enough to have two extremely hard working your men join the roster. These two athletes were Charlie and Kevin Eaton. We would soon find out that such hard and dedication was synonymous with their last name. Their Mother Michele and Father Matt started putting a positive impact on the organization almost immediately. Michele took a strong role in helping the organization market and sell their apparel and spread the Journeyman name. From set up to break down, the Pro-Shop was never run more efficiently. She even researched and negotiated better pricing on Journeyman’s clothing purchases. But her assistance did not stop there. Michele was a driving force in helping Journeyman institute policy and ensure that the program continued to provide a solid foundation for youth sports and character. Her assistance and feedback at advisory committee meetings was always accurate and extremely helpful. She continued to be the most dominant parent in planning and organizing community service projects and performed these tasks to the complete extent. Michele found the projects, organized the site for communication and lead the projects by example, rolling up her sleeves and putting the work in. Michele’s genuine concern for the program and all athletes involved is simply amazing. The amount of she assisted in the gym to help the program succeed is astonishing and the staff understands that these hours easily triple in preparation. Michele conducted all tasks flawlessly and with superior follow-through. You could always count on Michele to exceed expectations when conducting an event for the program. For her strong character, countless volunteer hours and selfless dedication, Journeyman owes her the highest gratitude. Please join us in congratulating Michele Eaton, a true Journeyman.
